Beth Anne Cohen King was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of Nevada, Reno and received her Master’s in Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with an emphasis in Studio for Interrelated Media. She has exhibited her work in different galleries through out the United States, including the Nevada Museum of Art. She was a recipient of the Boston Young Contemporaries Award in 2009, an Undergraduate Research Grant at U.N.R, and a Sierra Arts Grant in 2004.

She recently moved to Brooklyn, New York with her partner, Noah. In her most recent project she collaborates with Noah. Together, they explore issues of class identity, family relationships, and the meaning of home.
